‘At any moment’ – Lloris claims a ‘very dangerous’ star is thriving under Conte

Tottenham Hotspur captain Hugo Lloris believes Harry Kane is thriving under Antonio Conte because the forward knows exactly what the Italian wants from him, writes the TBR.

The England captain has been at his creative best in recent weeks, dropping deep and playing the quarter back role to devastating effect.

The 28-year-old has five assists from his last three matches and his tally for the season stands at 22 goals and nine assists.

Kane has contributed either a goal or an assist in seven consecutive Premier League games and he has been a driving force in Spurs’ four straight wins.

But World Cup winner Lloris feels that Kane is thriving in the current set-up because the former Inter Milan manager has made it clear of what he expects from his number 10.

Speaking via Football London, Spurs’ number one said: “I believe he understands very well the manager’s system. He understands very well his task and responsibilities.

“As you can see, he enjoys very much dropping [deep] to get the ball and making assists.

“We know he can make the difference at any moment. He’s very dangerous. Whether he’s close to the goal or far from the goal, he can do everything and it’s a big skill.

“It’s a big help for the team when you have a player like him.”

Playing alongside Heung-Min Son and Dejan Kulusevski, Kane is spearheading a Tottenham side that looks to have hit peak form at the perfect time.

With the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United faltering in the pursuit of fourth place, the momentum surrounding Conte’s Spurs is building with every passing game.

Champions League football could be on the horizon and it looks like Kane is loving his time in north London once again, playing under the influential serial winner Conte.
