Antonio Conte urges Tottenham’s board to deliver second improved bid for Serie A star

Roma’s talented midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo is the major newsmaker of the recent days. It was reported earlier this week that Tottenham made an offer for the Italian estimated at £25million. Plus, Spurs wanted to include Joe Rodon into the deal. Roma rejected the bid immediately.

New updates from the Italian outlet Quotidiano Nazionale suggest that Conte insists on the second bid for Zaniolo. Antonio Conte is ‘pushing’ for an offer that will please AS Roma board.

Nicolo Zaniolo, 23, has been with Roma since the summer of 2018. During this time, he played 111 matches for the club in all competitions and scored 22 goals. The football player tore his cruciate ligaments twice – he missed the periods from January to July 2020 and from September 2020 to May 2021.

The 23yo Zaniolo has flourished during the previous 2021/22 campaign, establishing himself as the league’s biggest talent. He appeared in 42 Roma games last season, scoring eight goals, including the one that brought victory over Feyenord in the Conference League final.
