Spurs made a great start to their Premier League season with a resounding home win against Southampton. The squad included many players signed in this transfer window.
After the game, Spurs manager Antonio Conte also hinted at the future of two Tottenham players.
Japhet Tanganga and Pepe Matar Sarr are contenders to leave the North London team. Tanganga has only been on the field five times in the Premier League under the Italian specialist.
Spurs could keep the Englishman as a backup, but Antonio Conte thinks it would be more useful for him to spend a year at another club where he would get regular playing practice.
There was no place in the squad today for Sarr either. Sarr needs a chance to prove himself but we don’t know if he will get it. Perhaps the best option for him will be a loan, where he can prove himself.
