An upgraded “Ben Davies” for £30 million is Fabio Paratici’s new transfer target

Executive director Fabio Paratici is trying his best to improve the squad and solid performers with great potential to the team.

Spurs’ defensive line needs a significant upgrade. Ben Davies, 29, is nearing the end of his career at the top level and Antonio Conte’s team wants to refresh the defensive line with new options.

According to The Telegraph, Fabio Paratici’s new transfer target is Everton’s  center-back Ben Godfrey.

The English defender is 24 years old and has plenty of time ahead of him to grow into a top player. Last season, Ben received a lot of praising comments about his game. Tony Bellew once wrote a Twitter post about him:

“Ben Godfrey has been an absolute revelation this season he really has! The lad has been immense everytime he’s played!”

So, the English defender already has a lot of experience in the Premier League, and will be a worthy candidate to pose competition for the 29-year-old Ben Davies.

Signing the center-back won’t be easy, but we all know Paratici and his tricks in the transfer market.
