‘An accidental impact injury’ – Alasdair Gold gives details about key Spurs player

Journalist Alasdair Gold reported that the Spurs players had to “turn their backs away” a bit after seeing Oliver Skipp’s injury in practice. The injury appeared to be much more serious than initially expected.

Talking on his YouTube channel, the correspondent shared about the incident:

Oliver Skipp, still haven’t got him back yet. The more I hear about his injury, it was very unpleasant.

It’s like a nasty, deep cut in his foot, where a stud essentially has gone through the top of his foot. An accidental impact injury in training on the Friday before the Rangers game, needed a lot of stitches.

And from what I’m told, a lot of the players on the pitch were turning away, it was very unpleasant to see.
