Thomas Frank Open to Tottenham Move for Eberechi Eze, Partnering with Kudus

Tottenham Hotspur could be on the verge of creating a dynamic attacking partnership reminiscent of Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa, should Eberechi Eze join the ranks at Spurs, according to sources.

GIVEMESPORT reports that Spurs are looking to hijack Arsenal’s move for the Crystal Palace star, with Eze seemingly open to making the switch within London and joining a Champions League-contending club. The English forward was a standout performer for the Eagles, scoring the decisive goal in their FA Cup final victory over Manchester City last season.

Thomas Frank has already strengthened his squad with the exciting addition of Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United. However, with James Maddison sustaining an ACL injury during pre-season, Spurs are now considering another attacking midfielder. The lack of creativity and depth in Tottenham’s squad last season, compounded by an injury crisis, left them struggling. Their Europa League win salvaged an otherwise disappointing campaign, and now chairman Daniel Levy must build a team capable of competing on both the domestic and European fronts.

Eze, dubbed a “superstar” for his dribbling, vision, and ability to progress the ball, would be a key asset for Spurs. His ability to break down defenses with incisive passes mirrors the qualities that made Mbeumo so effective under Frank at Brentford. Mbeumo was also sought after by Frank for a potential move to North London before his £71m transfer to Manchester United.

Eze’s potential partnership with Kudus would offer a balanced dynamic, with the two complementing each other’s strengths. Eze’s craft and vision, paired with Kudus’ more powerful style, could prove devastating for opposing defenses, creating a versatile attacking force for Spurs if the deal comes to fruition.
