Chelsea and Tottenham are interested in Newcastle leader Saint-Maximin. The club is asking for more than £40m.
Newcastle United leader Allan Saint-Maximin, one of the best dribblers in Europe’s top leagues, may leave the club. According to The Athletic, the French striker is of interest to Chelsea and Tottenham, as well as several other European teams.
According to the publication, Newcastle require at least 40 million pounds for Saint-Maximin, whose contract ends only in the summer of 2026. Both London teams are not ready to pay the requested amount.
It is also reported that the player himself, as well as his entourage, intend to stay at the club and are ready to sign a new contract. However, the management of Newcastle told Allan’s advisers that he needs to demonstrate a game worthy of a new improved contract.
