Villarreal winger Arnaud Danjuma caught the attention of West Ham last month. However, it became known that the requested compensation for the player is €40+ million euros and Villarreal are reluctant to lower their demands as there are other clubs interested in the talented winger.
Reports from France claim that West Ham is now looking for cheaper alternative to strengthen their attacking lines, and one of the most prominent candidates is PSG’s youngster Arnaud Kalimuendo.
The 20-y-o has spent last two seasons on loan with Lens. In his first spell he netted 7 goals and provided 5 assists in 28 appearances, while in the second spell the number of scored goals increased to 12 goals in 32 League 1 games.
The France U21 international may explode next season and the interest from various clubs is justified. Besides, he has two years left under his current agreement with PSG. The Tranfermarkt estimates the Kalimuendo £16m and some reports suggest that the French club will demand £20m+ fee for the centre-forward.
