Сlub demands €45m: Tottenham won’t give up on Serie A attacking midfielder, also targeted by West Ham

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a number of midfielders this summer and 49-cap Ukrainian international Ruslan Malinovskyi happens to be the latest name linked with a move to the London club, writes the BoyHotspur.

The experienced attacking midfielder had an impressive season with Atalanta last year and he managed to score 10 goals across all competitions. Furthermore, his set-piece expertise turned him into a key asset for the Italian side.

Malinovskyi has proven himself in Italian football and the opportunity to showcase his qualities in the Premier League could be a tempting proposition for the player.

However, Spurs would have to fork out €45 million to sign the attacking midfielder.

As per Calciomercato, the Londoners want to sign the player on loan with an option to buy. However, Atalanta would prefer a permanent sale. However, the report adds that Spurs won’t ‘give up’ on the player just yet.

Malinovskyi is reportedly a target for West Ham as well.

Spurs have had an eventful window so far and although they need a goalscoring midfielder, it seems unlikely they will fork out the reported asking price for Malinovskyi.

The Londoners have quality players like Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur at their disposal, but none of them can chip in with goals. The 29-year-old would add a new dimension to the Spurs midfield if the Premier League side can sign him.

It remains to be seen whether the Londoners come forward with a concrete offer in the next few days.
